मोपाच्या धावपट्टीवर वाढतेय अपेक्षांचे ओझे..!
पेडणे, ता. १४ - येथे विमानतळासाठी आता परत भू संपादन प्रक्रया जोरात सुरू झाली आहे. त्यामुळे लवकरच विमानतळ होईल व त्यातून रोजगाराचा प्रश्न सुटेल अशी सर्वसामान्यांची अपेक्षा आहे. तालुक्यात मोठ्या प्रमाणात रोजगार उपलब्ध करून देणारा प्रकल्प नाही. त्यामुळे विमानतळ झाल्यास सेवा क्षेत्रात मोठ्या प्रमाणावर रोजगार उपलब्ध होईल, असे गृहीतक आता मांडले जात आहे. बेरोजगारीची समस्या चुटकीसरशी सुटणार आहे अशी येथील सर्व सामान्य लोकांची भावना आहे. रोजगार मिळेल या आशेने सर्व सामान्यांच्या अपेक्षा बऱ्याच उंचावलेल्या आहेत.
बसस्थानक, रेल्वेस्थानक परिसरातील रचना व प्रवासी यात फरक आहे. पण, या परिसरातील सर्वसामान्य माणूस विमानतळ परिसरात चहा स्टॉल, लहान हॉटेल, दुकान, वडापाव विकणे असा व्यवसाय तरी करता येईल अशा अपेक्षा ठेवून आहे.

I do not think by getting a new airport poor people will get a chance of income. Selling Vadapav/tea outside airport may not be a big business because none of the travellers will look at it. But yes.. this move will be useful for Taxi/Auto drivers who are currently runnning without any meter. This new airport will also create few jobs. Hope these jobs are not given to outsiders.
Overall its a good move but care should be taken that jobs are given to insiders(Goa localites) and no agricultural land should be used for this purpose.
The new airport will help Goa to grow more in tourism sector. Care should be taken that it will create jobs for Goan youths. Its really shocking that the prime lands near the proposed airport at Mopa and in Pernem taluka are already sold to the people outside the country. Also, the agricultural land, forests and greenery should not be touched.
Looks pernem side people need more attention for properity growth. There is enough space availabel. This place is close to mapusa and panjim hence right destination. for Goa plus konkan people. there will big business
